Damp Room

An attempt to archive the things I've been making before the mould sets in.

From maybe 4? 5? years ago.

These are some of the things I used to sell at markets.

A couple of years ago I was commissioned to make these masks for Saatchi and Saatchi. They were meant for a beer add (hence the hungover appearance) but were never used. Never did get any decent photos of them before I sent them off.

My first attempt at developing film with caffenol-C.

Pretty rough quality (expired film, plastic lomo camera, 10 or so passes though airport x-rays, developed with coffee, Dusty house, and then scanned with the cheapest scanner I could find.) But I like it Lo-Fi.

Holiday snaps from Northern Nevada/California area. 2011.

I make things sometimes.

A lot of it doesn’t leave my room, so this is an attempt to keep an archive of it before the ravages of a damp bedroom set in.  It also means I can follow my tumblr obsessions legit-ly rather than feeling like a stalker.

I’m not too good with the words, so this will mainly be a photo blog, most likely sporadically updated with past and current projects.

So, starting things off, here’s a sneak peak of what Im currently working on…

This one will be leaving the room to go into an exhibition in a weeks time. I’ll be putting up better photos and maybe even details of it and the rest of the pieces when they’re done.
